BT smartnumbers mobile is a GSM service that enables individuals to have two mobile numbers on one mobile. Using a separate mobile number for both personal and business calls, individuals can manage their communications with two distinct identities on the same mobile.
This is achieved without the need for dual SIM phones, Voice over IP (VoIP) or any change to the subscriber’s existing mobile network.

- BT smartnumbers mobile provides a dedicated business number on any iOS or Android mobile phone, so business and personal communications can be split.
- ‘Call Whispering’ identifies whether a call is being made to the personal or business mobile number before accepting the call.
- Automatically charges personal calls to the individual, while business calls are charged directly to the organisation.
GSM call quality
- GSM mobile call quality and availability wherever there is a mobile signal.
- In areas with a poor mobile reception, BT smartnumbers mobile can route mobile calls to a fixed-line or IP client.
On demand mobile call recording
- Record calls for note taking or dispute resolution. Entire calls are recorded even if call recording is activated midway through the call.
- Recordings are automatically sent to a subscriber’s business email account.
- Ensure that important mobile calls are always answered by delegating calls to a colleague or a team when unavailable.
